Yokogawa Joins PROFIBUS User Organization
橫河電機(jī)加入PROFIBUS用戶組織

March 23, 2011 - Yokogawa Electric joined the PROFIBUS Nutzerorganisation e.V. (PNO), an interest group for the PROFIBUS and PROFINET standard communication protocols that are widely used in industrial automation applications.

Originally developed to meet the needs of the discrete manufacturing industry, PROFIBUS has evolved into a fieldbus standard for both discrete manufacturing and process automation.

最初是為了滿足離散制造工業(yè)需求而開(kāi)發(fā)的PROFIBUS，目前已經(jīng)演化成離散制造和流程自動(dòng)化的現(xiàn)場(chǎng)總線標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

PROFIBUS and PROFINET are standardized under a range of international standards, the most important being IEC 61158 and 61784.

PROFIBUS和 PROFINET是根據(jù)一系列的國(guó)際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)而制定的，其中最重要的是IEC 61158 和61784標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

Masatoshi Nakahara, General Manager of the Marketing Center at the Industrial Automation Business Headquarters, commented as follows regarding Yokogawa’s membership in the PNO:
