Honeywell installs UniSim suite for aromatics plant in Kuwait

KUWAIT, April 23, 2008 -- Honeywell will design, configure and install its UniSim Operations suite for Kuwait Paraxylene Production Company’s aromatics plant in Shuaiba, Kuwait. The KPPC plant, which produces benzene and para-xylene, is operated by EQUATE Petrochemical Company K.S.C.

The UniSim Operations suite is a dynamic simulation engine designed to train operators and maintenance personnel in process industries. The UniSim Operations suite-based solution for the KPPC plant also includes embedded UOP reactor models that take the dependability of the simulator to a higher level.
